Service Description

Reeds K9 board and train program is a fully immersive lifestyle dog training program based in our home. We have found this creates success with your dogs training, as well as their transition back to home life. Your dog will interact with our personal dogs so they have socialization and build confidence, structure and pack mentality. Because of this we are very limited on space and can only accept dogs that are potty trained & crate trained. At your in person evaluation we will talk about the top 2 - 3 goals that you have with your dog . Together with our trainers we will create a custom training program fit for you and your dogs needs. -Basic obedience is perfect for those pups that need a little more help with the basics. Commands include; Coming when called, Walking nicely on leash, Sit/stay, Place command, Waiting at open doors, and dropping items from the mouth when told. Plus stopping nuisance behavior such as barking, jumping, and play biting. - Behavior/ Aggressive Training. As a specialist in dog behavior we can help with issues such as resource guarding, seperation anxiety, dog aggression and more. Working with dogs who exhibit these behaviors is a lot different then working with a dog who just needs help with basic commands. It requires intense training that involves teaching your dog new behaviors while getting rid of the old, unwanted ones. Each dog is different in their outcome as each dog needs their own amount of time to learn and has different limitations and abilities. At a minimum, our goal is to teach your dog how to properly exist around other dogs and people in real world environments. Each dog has a different training journey, it is our duty to give you an honest assessment during and after your dog completes our board and train program. This will inform you on what your dog’s limitations are and give you an idea on what home life will look like once the program is complete.
